Every year, the Kulshan PTSA sponsors a number of events at our school. Each one offers opportunites to volunteer and get involved!

Snow Goose Trip

Sixth graders on the Science field trip on the Snow Goose, an excursion into Bellingham Bay to measure water quality. Each year, the PTSA heavily subsidizes this and other amazing learning opportunities for our students.









Magazine Drive

Our one and only fund raiser for the year - the Annual Magazine Drive! Students win prizes for selling magazine subscriptions or existing subscription renewals. Families are encouraged to make cash donations if they prefer not to participate in the sales process.







Turkey Trot- Cancelled for 2013

The Turkey Trot is an event to benefit the local Food Bank, timed to coincide with Thanksgiving. Students bring donations for the foodbank, and participate in a Fun Run around the school - come rain or shine!








Earth Day Carnival
st.pats.16.jpgEarth Day Carnival is an opportunity for kids to be kids. Inflatable challenge courses, Video Games, Guitar Hero, and of course, Pizza and Ices make for an enjoyable afternoon. Academic teams raise money for their selected charity. The event is self-funding, but PTA volunteers run the show!

The Greater Bellingham Middle School Challenge Event

The Greater Bellingham Middle School Challenge Event is a non-competitive Fun Run/Walk through beautiful Whatcom Falls Park at the end of the school year. All middle schools participate, each entry wins a prize, everybody has fun! We challenge other schools to beat our enrollment numbers!
